Rallying for Rights. Transforming sport into a platform for purpose.
The Event
On 31 January 2026, the Legal Aid Society (LAS) hosted its first-ever padel tournament, Padel for Justice: Rallying for Rights. By bringing together families, young players, and corporate supporters, the tournament transformed sport into a platform for purpose.
All proceeds are dedicated to providing end-to-end legal assistance for individuals and families affected by the tragic Gul Plaza fire on 17 January 2026. This energy and generosity reflect a growing movement of individuals who believe that strengthening justice systems begins with showing up together.
"Padel and justice have more in common than we realize. Justice, like the game, requires resilience, teamwork, and strategy. Just as players show up, rally, and hit back, at Legal Aid Society we show up every day to hit back against injustice... Everyone here is swinging and rallying for justice."
